Busy, Busy

It has been so busy that I haven’t posted in a while. Work has been crazy - especially with the back to school rush. In my spare time I’ve been working on several websites. I’m planning to post some updates soon on the web projects I’m working on. I have made time to start reading a new book called Grow Your Money by Jonathan D. Pond. It offers simple guidance for anyone seeking to save more, plan for retirement, and get out of debt. I might post some thoughts later.

Benazir Bhutto Assassinated

I was shocked to hear of the assassination of Pakastani opposition leader Benazir Bhutto by cowardly extremists. This is truly a sad day. A life was lost, and a figure for change and democracy in the Middle East has been killed. It is unfortunate that the current Pakastani administration did not do more to ensure her safety. A very sad turn of events.

Nevada Ticket Attorney Website

The Las Vegas attorney website www.sprenzlaw.com has been doing very well. After revamping the underlying code and cleaning up the various SEO components of the site it continues to rank well for Las Vegas attorney searches on Google - especially when related to the specific areas of law practiced by the firm. I am still working to raise the site’s visibility in more generic search results. It looks as though it is on the right track.
I recently built another site for Sprenz & Associates that specifically addresses the area of traffic ticket law. This Nevada traffic ticket attorney site is called www.NevadaTicketAttorney.com. Obviously a great domain name choice. That is a plus. The content is pretty good and does a good job of informing the visitor while providing the necessary keywords throughout the text.
The site shows up well for searches and has already driven at least a half dozen new clients to the law practice. It is so much fun to see the work put into these sites giving results.

Smile Reminder on Fox News

My friend, mentor, and former boss, Jim Higgins, was featured on Fox Business earlier this month as he talked about the business he founded in 2000. The business, now called Smile Reminder, is a doctor-patient communication system designed to improve communication between medical service providers and their patients using text messaging, email communication and surveys. I worked for Jim during the start up of this business from 2000 to 2003. It’s great to see the success they are having!
