SEO for Law Sites and Attorneys

By TLS | October 25, 2007

I have been spending a lot of time lately working on improving the search engine optimization (SEO) for Las Vegas Attorney site Sprenzlaw.com. It has been very rewarding, because I have been able to see the results. The site has several first page listings on Google and Yahoo for relevant keyword phrases.

The site has been online for a few years, so that helps. I reworked the code because the original code was full of errors and was not W3C compliant (I admit, I wrote the original code, too). Fixing that alone made the site much better and cleaner. Next I reworked it so that the site’s design and content was contolled dynamically using a series of include files. This has made it much easier to maintain. Rather than needing to change each page of the site I can now make changes to one or two files.

Finally, I reworked the page content to emphasize the keywords relevant to the areas of practice for the attorney. The goal is to make his site the (as in theeeee) online destination for anyone looking for a Las Vegas, NV attorney.
